If you ask me what I regret in my life the most, the answer would be: “Invisalign treatment with Dr. Boyadzhiev”
I can’t express how UPSET I am with the results of this treatment. Unfortunetly, this orthodontic treatment was not beneficial for me in any way. It actually RUINED my teeth. These days I can’t look at my smile without getting depressed.
Every single tooth specialist, including renown tooth technician and orthopaedic dentists from Zurich were simply shocked (in a negative sense) when they saw the condition of my teeth a few months after the removal of the attachments which I had to wear during my Invisalign treatment with Dr. Boyadzhiev. My teeth looked like a total mess. (And unfortunately they still do). The enamel on my teeth became so damaged even though I still have some leftovers from the composite attachments on a few teeth. As a proof that this review is truthful and authentic, below I attached the photos of my teeth before and after Invisalign treatment. FROM THE FIRST PHOTO YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE HOW BAD IS THE CONDITION OF MY TEETH JUST A FEW MONTHS AFTER THE LAST APPOINTMENT WITH DR. BOYADZHIEV. And ON THE REST OF THE PHOTOS you can see my smile and teeth condition just a few months BEFORE the Invisalign treatment.
At the start of the Invisalign treatment Dr. Boyadzhiev told me that he will “open my bite and make me like my smile”... Instead I got a smile full of flat grey-yellow teeth which look extremely dark since they don’t reflect light and absorb food due to the permanently destroyed tooth enamel. This treatment also resulted in the large spaces between many of my teeth as they were extensively sliced in order to create a space for moving. Before this treatment the contacts between my teeth were really tight and these days I have food stuck between many of them after each meal because of the extra spaces. My face started to look flatter and my lips lost original volume, my teeth became extremely sensitive to the temperature changes and different foods. Almost 10 000 CHF are WAISTED and I am feeling very downhearted because of the consequences listed above.
It’s important to say that most of the appointments except the very first one were scheduled in such way that Dr. Boyadzhiev had another patient in the neighboring room and would come out only for a few minutes when his assistants had called him in order to slice my teeth or respond my questions. Throughout the whole treatment I had a feeling as if my appointments have been squeezed in between other patient’s appointments and as if the doctor was actually making me a favor by slicing my teeth or responding questions related to the treatment since he was always in a rush and made me feel as if I kept delaying him. Most of the manipulations (except teeth slicing) were done by his assistants.
One of the doctor’s assistants, Mrs. Ana Correia is the person who destroyed the enamel on my teeth while removing the attachments which I had to wear on the majority of my teeth during Invisalign treatment. On the day, when I had the appointment with her I spent nearly 1 hour in the waiting room. When it came to the procedure Ms. Ana Correia told me that she has to rush and the reason for that is that she got another patient shortly after me. While removing my Invisalign attachments she was working very ruff. I literally never experienced such tooth pain before as during this procedure. I was almost crying from pain, asking her to slow down. And you know what? At that moment she told me that my pain is just in my head, and I got to let her do her job. On their web site they state that they take their patients’ pain seriously if such situations occur and even help them to cope with a fear of dental pain... Now you know how it’s done though!
I wish I knew then that the reason for such enormous pain was that Ms. Correia have been actually removing the enamel off my teeth... Another surprise waited for me when I asked her to put some pain relief gel on my lower jaw and she replied to me that she won’t apply it as she had done it to my upper jaw since she got no time to wait until it starts working for me and the reason for that was that she got to rush to finish my procedure because of her appointment with another patient.
During my next appointment, which was the last appointment at the Dental Club Praxis for me, I pointed the area where I had the composite leftovers as well as told to Dr. Boyadzhiev that I got a large space between two of my front teeth. The doctor immediately became very defensive and started to say that anyways I am going to get veneers and they will have to slice the same spacing . First of all, this is completely wrong, as I consulted a tooth technician who told me that such extensive space is unnecessary. Secondly, I just mentioned to the doctor at the beginning of my treatment with him that I consider getting 4 veneers on my front upper teeth to improve the look of my smile and he had no right to use such argument in his defense as it’s my personal business to get veneers this year or in ten years or never.
Also during the last appointment Dr. Boyadzhiev made a few attempts to remove the left over composite with a metal hook. He not only didn’t remove much that way, but caused pain. This whole experience seemed to me very surrealistic while I was paying so much money. All I wanted at that moment is to get out of that dental office and never ever have any experience with these unprofessional and negligent people again.
Another important fact is that there is no evidence that my bite problem, which actually was the main reason for this orthodontic treatment, was corrected since no proper diagnostics was have been conducted in order to check it. All Dr. Boyadzhiev had done during the last appointment was giving me a piece of polished paper to bite, then he had a look at it and said: all is ok! This is not how it usually works when you get an orthodontic treatment from a professional orthodontist.
The orthopedic dentist from Zurich who saw me about one year prior the Invisalign treatment and was familiar to how my teeth used to look like before the treatment, told me that he had never seen such negligence towards the patient ’s enamel in his entire professional life. He was truly horrified with the way my teeth look these days. He even had called 2 other dentists from his praxis to show my case. All of them advised me to submit a complain about my treatment with Dr. Boyadzhiev to Swiss dental association and Invisalign org.
P.S.:
Please be aware that the majority of the positive reviews about the experience at Dental Club Praxis are left by the accounts which had never posted any other reviews on Google. This is suspicious and may mean that these accounts were created in order to write these reviews and they are likely FAKED. Also, most of their Instagram followers are obviously purchased bots. Please DON’T BE BUYEST like me and do a good research about the doctor before you make such commitment like an orthopedic treatment.
